“Betfit.com Releases New Betting Exchange for Online Gambling”
Betfit.com is out to capture the private betting market - customers bet against each other.
A new era in the ever-evolving online gambling industry has just begun.
A Costa Rica based company, BetFit Global Entertainment, a betting exchange,
is now online.
According to BetFit’s executive director, Ricardo Silva, the betting
exchange, “is a marketplace where customers can place bets on the
outcome of certain events between each other. Just as in regular betting
on the outcome of a certain game or event, one person bets on a result
and another person bets against it. In this site, customers do not bet
with the fixed odds offered by a traditional sportsbook. Here they negotiate
the prices of their own bets between themselves, so obtaining better odds.
Betting exchanges allow customers make more profits and have more fun.”
The owners of BetFit are sure that their site will attract clients of
traditional sportsbooks who will immediately recognize the advantages
of using the betting exchange. BetFit, of course, won’t turn away
customers coming from the already established betting exchange markets
and online gambling sites either.
Analysts predict that there is a big shakeup in the online gambling
industry on the way, with the arrival of betting exchange sites. The betting
exchange sites are ushering in a new era into the ever-changing gambling
industry. Even the name “sportsbook” has been affected since
it has had to acquire a new name (“traditional sportsbook”)
to differentiate from the new one now currently called “sportsbook”.
Meanwhile, traditional sportsbooks are upgrading their systems to conform
to the new system. Many in the industry are already claiming that clients
from the traditional sportsbooks are going over to the new sportsbooks
as they begin to understand its advantages.
BetFit itself already exhibits many attractive qualities and an even
newer version of their software, due out in the middle of 2005, promises
to further revolutionize the industry.
