WebCam.com - Online Casino Review
WebCam.com Casino
Overview
Casino WebCam allows you to see and hear the dealer online. The
site is available in English, German, and Chinese. They don’t
offer Live Chat **gasp**. You can reach their customer support
only through email and the response time is estimated to be within
48 hours of receiving the request. The funny bit is that this
information is listed under “Prompt Customer Support” – prompt.
Funny. Compared to whom? All transactions on their site are done
in US dollars. All of the live dealers are young attractive women.
Gee, what more could a heterosexual female punter ask for. Couldn’t
they have one guy with nice abs and no shirt on?
They are based in Costa Rica, but their financial subsidiary
is in Gibralter. There is no need for their games to be reviewed
as the dealing is live, not RNG (random number generator).
Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are the best and easiest
to read and understand of any internet casino I have seen. The
terms are simple and fair. If they think you are abusing the reserve
the right to close your account. Simple and short. I am a happy
camper today!
Deposit
Minimum deposit amount is $20. They offer the usual
deposit methods:
- MasterCard / Visa – ID may be required BEFORE
being able to make a large deposit
- FirePay
- Neteller
- 900 Pay by Neteller – deposits must be following
increments: $35, $50, $75, $100, or $150.
- Check / Bank draft
- Wire transfer
Withdrawal
Minimum withdrawal amount is $15. They have a 48-hour “suspense” where
you can reverse your withdrawal request if you choose. This is
to get the punter to reverse their winnings and lose the lot. It
works too. With that said it’s better than the waiting for
your PIN must send in all of your documentation and the soul of
your first born before you are allowed to cash out casino, which
seems to be running rampant on the web today. Of course after that
they mention that withdrawals are only processed once a week, either
on Saturdays or Sundays. This really means that you will have to
wait awhile for your money no matter what.
If you are lucky enough to be cashing out $1000 by
check they require documentation, which is fair enough. Also, if
the totals of your withdrawals are getting close to $1000 they
will need it then too.
Withdrawal methods are as follows:
- Visa – when allowed
- Neteller – if you deposited via Neteller
- FirePay – if you deposited via FirePay
- Check / Bank draft – takes 1 to 3 weeks to
arrive
- Wire transfer – they don't mention a charge,
but I would be surprised if there wasn't one.

- 100% match up signing bonus $20 to $150 – If
you deposit any amount between $20 and $150 you will receive the
same amount in a bonus.

Promotional Terms and Conditions
At the very bottom of their terms is a very interesting
tidbit: “Danish and Israeli players are welcome to play,
but must email customer support at support@casinowebcam.com for
playthrough details.” I can’t wait to find out what
I need to do to be able to play here.
Their wagering requirements are steep, 30X the deposit
+ bonus amount. The interesting thing is that they qualify which
bets are not allowed. In other words, they state that risk free
bets do not count. What they don’t say is that the games
that allow for risk free bets do not count. Which means that Roulette
counts as long as you don’t bet on red and black at the same
time. Baccarat counts as well, as long as you don't bet on banker
and player at the same time.
Once you receive the bonus you must meet the wagering
requirements before being able to cash out.
Some of their requirements seemed pointless to me,
such as: “Any bonus money you earn by taking advantage of
CasinoWebcam.com's promotions will be stored in a "bonus money" account,
which is kept separate from the account that holds your cash casino
deposits. When you are betting at the tables, bets are first taken
from your bonus money account until the bonus account is empty.” If
you can’t cash out until the wagering requirements are met
then why is this important?
Again “If the bet made using bonus account money
is won, the wagered amount, taken from the bonus account, will
be returned to the bonus account, and the winnings will go into
your cash account. If the bet made using bonus money is lost, the
bonus account is decremented accordingly.” Does that mean
that the bonus is sticky? They don't say it is.
Make sure your friends play well and don’t lose
it all too quick. ” You will receive the bonus once the referred
player registers using the email address specified by you and the
player wagers a minimum of thirty (30) times.”
Another one that doesn’t make sense to me “The
$1,000 prize will be credited to the winning entrant's CasinoWebcam.com
account, and must be wagered 20x before playing; risk-free bets
are excluded.” How can you wager before playing? Is there
something here I am missing. I swear English is my native language
and even though I live in Israel now I grew up in America. How
can you wager before you play???!!! Make sure you live somewhere
that gambling is legal before bothering with this prize as they
will require you to “execute an affidavit of eligibility
and a liability/publicity release within 72 hours following confirmation
by said winner”. And then there’s this bit about a
skill testing question: “Failure to comply with these time
periods or the skill-testing question will result in disqualification
and awarding of the Prize to an alternate winner.” What type
of skill do you need to enter a sweepstakes?! If you do want to
win you must be signed up to their mailing list. If you opt-out
you are not eligible.
Playing
The navigation of the cashier isn't totally clear.
You need to enter the deposit amount and then add a deposit method.
Normally you can do it all on the same page. They guide you through
the step process, but I could see the potential for a lot of people
to get confused.
I deposited $50 and wrote to their customer service
as I am from Israel and in their terms and conditions they request
that. It's been several hours and I have only received a confirmation
that they received my email. They also have not given me a bonus
yet. I wonder if they will… My goodness, they don't want
Israeli players. I just got a response back for my email. The wagering
requirement for Israeli players is 40X the deposit + bonus. That
means if I deposit $50 and receive a $50 bonus I have to wager
$4000 ($50 + $50 = $100 * 40 = $4000). I will not be taking a bonus
from this casino, even if they offer it.
They only offer baccarat, blackjack, sic bo, and roulette.
No slots here. No poker either. They used to have poker, but apparently
no one played there, so they stopped. You can play the games with
or without a dealer. The games without a live dealer have the same
layout as with a dealer, only no chat option and no video feed.
As such I went with the live dealer.
Playing these games is bizarre. A young female in a
red tube top with white trim stands there dealing cards on a black
table with a black backdrop. In the morning the young woman dealing
looked bored and uncomfortable. She kept talking in Spanish to
someone off camera. Tonight Katya is dealing baccarat, and she
seems more comfortable with the spotlight. She even said hello
and smiled.
Angie is handling the roulette wheel. The camera shifts
in and out of focus as the wheel spins. I lost and moved on.
On to Sic Bo where poor Liss is getting hit on by some
punter named Adam who is professing his love for her in the messenger.
I asked Liss if punters could tip her as in a real casino. She
laughed and asked if I was going to tip her. I suggested that Adam
should instead. We started chatting back and forth a bit. I am
starting to see the appeal of a live dealer.
Kim is dealing the blackjack. She has headphones on
and is moving around like she's listening to music while she's
dealing. The dealers keep talking to each other off camera. Kim
is finished and Liss is now dealing. Sure enough Adam isn't far
behind. He doesn't even play. He just talks to Liss and tells her
how much he likes her. This isn't a casino, it's a soap opera.
Actually, it's better than that. It's a tela novella.
I was going to just play a few big hands and lose it
all, but I bet $25 on blackjack and won and decided to cash out
my $86 instead.
Overall
It took awhile to get an email answer from their customer service.
I did not take their bonus as the wagering requirement was ridiculous.
I had some nice wins. The games are fun, even though it's a small
selection. The young women dealing are sweet and like getting
in conversations with the punters.
There is a strange voyeuristic edge to the casino,
as the dealer can't see you. There were an even amount of male
and female nicks, which surprised me. I thought they would all
be male. Initially, I was turned off by the place and thought it
was creepy. The black tables and black backdrop for the young female
dealers have a peep show edge to it (ok, no I have never been to
a peep show but when I described the place to a male friend of
mine his first response was "cheap porn" and I thought
I would try to tone it down a bit). However, it turned out to be
fun. I liked the interaction with the dealer. It has a definite
appeal over a computer.
It would have been nice if they had a hot guy dealing…
Overall I give it a B+. If they also had poker it would
have been an A.
